Task 2.1: Research into existing products (Madonna - Like A Prayer)

At the beginning of the video for Madonna's Like A Prayer, you see a mid shot of her running towards the camera. Only in the next shot do the audience see what she is running towards - Jesus being burnt on the cross. This video received a lot of criticism when it was first released due to the fact that the Jesus in the video is of black origin. Moreover, the woman (Madonna) who falls in love with him is white and so are the people who crucify Jesus. Madonna didn't intend on discriminating white people in her video
